May It Never Fall
When I was a kid, the 4th of July was a big day! We always celebrated with a big family get-together. Usually on my Mom’s side of the family, but occasionally with my Dad’s family.

The first week of June, I visited the New Orleans area. I was there to make pictures of the gulf oil spill disaster. While I was there, I visited several of the areas that were devastated by Hurricane Katrina, including the Lower Ninth Ward and St. Bernard Parrish.
